Thanks Joanna! I want to wear that shirt we both have (the crotchet 40's blouse with the beading) next week! It's been about 40 degrees in Los Angeles (believe it OR NOT), so it's almost too chilly to put it on. I purchased my heart belt at a funny little goth shop down the street from my house. They are online - http://www.fatalimpact.com I also have a black and a red one. :) I am SO, SO short waisted. I need a belt or it looks like my chest bleeds into my knees ;)
Thank-you! Call me Lucille is my hair muse right now. She did an amazing tutorial for this updo. It's basically a ponytail on top of your head. I had to change it a bit since I cut my hair.
I totally bought that at a $5.00 shop. I couldn't believe it! It's made of stretchy material. But, I love when modern shops carry vintage style outfits! It shouldn't cost a million dollars to look it ;)
Oh my you never have a hair out of place, I just don't know how you do it! I love the first two outfits especially, red on black is always such a perfect colour combination :D Thank you so much for mentioning me on SKM's post on vintage blogs, you really made my day!
I totally have an unfair advantage because I am a hairdresser. When my hair is in a scarf, it usually means that Scarlett woke up too early and I had 3 minutes to do something with it. I've been dressing like this since high school, so along with being a hairdresser for 12+ years I've had a ton of practice!
Fabulous, I can't pick just one! I do, however, love your heart belt:))
