The Fella asked me to marry him the Thursday after Christmas at the Reverend Horton Heat Show at the New Fonda Theatre. We dined at Dan Tana's beforehand. The Fella's best friends Dad has been the bartender there for over 20 years! I highly recommend the Chicken Marsala, it's the best I've ever had!
Taken a few minutes before he popped "the question"
Due to budget cuts, the City of Los Angeles no longer allows daily marriages at the courthouse. Only on Fridays. It was very important to us that we were married on the 13th, the date of Scarlett's birth (it's our lucky number). The Fella walked in and literally said, we are going to Vegas this weekend. So, with only a few days to prepare, we were off to our whirlwind adventure to Vegas!
Chelsea was kind, and crazy enough, to agree to serve as my Maid of Honor! Here she is admiring the flowers in the lobby of The Wynn Hotel.
After freshening up from 5 hour trek, we met for dinner at Society Cafe, inside of The Wynn. The decor was beautiful, the food great and the service impeccable!
Opening gifts
In the morning we headed to get our marriage license! We arrived at 8am, with no line AT ALL! It's very easy and quick. Which is both convenient and terrifying if you are tipsy and might not be in the right mind!
WARNING!
I wore my favorite light blue Chinese silk dress, which I bought at American Vintage.
Shoes: Badgley Mischka
My brooches are each from my Grandmothers
Earrings: The Way We Wore
Stole: thrifted
Gloves: Ebay lot purchase of gloves who's previous owner was Liberace's cousin!
Our small, but mighty wedding party
With my little lady
We had to get married by The King!
We ate afterwards at, The Wicked Spoon, inside the very swanky, Cosmopolitan Hotel.

Chelsea photobomb!
We were in Vegas for less than 24 hours, 10 of those spent traveling back and forth! We plan on having a large party so we can celebrate with all of our family and friends! A huge thank-you to those that were crazy enough (and free) that attended!
Here's to the rest of our lives
